Workbrew is a secure software delivery platform that serves IT administrators, security professionals, and MacAdmins managing complex, global fleets. We started by building the features that companies need on top of Homebrew, the most popular package manager on macOS. Since launching in November 2024, Workbrew has grown quickly, garnering a long waitlist of technical teams looking for hands-on support.

💥 Why Workbrew Needs You

As one of our first Sales Development Representatives, you’ll be the first impression of Workbrew for many of our prospective customers. You’ll play a crucial role in scaling our go-to-market efforts by identifying, engaging, and qualifying high-value accounts across IT, security, and engineering teams.

This is a foundational role with massive growth potential. You'll work closely with your team’s Account Executives and Marketing crew members to build the sales pipeline, and help define what great outbound looks like at Workbrew.

This role reports to the Lead Account Executive and is ideal for someone who’s intellectually curious, confident speaking to technical decision-makers, and hungry to learn and grow in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.

✨ Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Research and identify high-potential prospects using tools like LinkedIn, Pipedrive, and other customer intent signals.
  • Craft compelling messages (via email, phone, LinkedIn) to spark conversations and generate interest in Workbrew.
  • Qualify leads through discovery conversations, understanding their needs and challenges across software delivery, device management, and internal tooling.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to hand off high-quality opportunities and continuously improve pipeline conversion.
  • Track activity, notes, and insights in our CRM (we use Pipedrive).
  • Run outbound experiments and share learnings across the GTM team.
  • Contribute to marketing and product’s efforts by reporting what messaging, pain points, and positioning are resonating in the field.
  • Help build and maintain outbound playbooks, sequences, and battlecards.
  • Represent Workbrew at conferences or field events.

🧠 Requirements (you need all of these):

  • You have 1–3 years of experience in an outbound SDR, BDR, or similar sales role at a B2B SaaS or devtools company.
  • You're a strong written communicator who can craft messages that get replies.
  • You’re energized by outbound sales and confident picking up the phone to speak with technical and security stakeholders.
  • You’re organized, coachable, and hungry to grow into an AE or more senior sales role.
  • You’ve worked in (or want to work in) an early-stage, fast-growing startup.
  • You’re self-directed, thoughtful, and thrive in a remote, distributed team.
  • You care about solving real problems for customers, not just hitting activity metrics.

👍 Nice-to-haves (you do not need any of these):

  • Familiarity with the Apple IT/security ecosystem (Jamf, MDM, Homebrew, etc.).
  • Past experience selling to IT, DevOps, or Security personas.
  • Exposure to modern tools in a sales stack.
  • Experience with technical products, especially those involving command-line tooling or infrastructure.
  • Basic programming / scripting experience
